Early Learning Program
At Cradles to Crayons Early Learning Centre we believe education begins from birth. In collaboration with families, we support children’s learning and development, and their health and their wellbeing.
We work in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and use the Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework (VEYLDF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) as the foundation for the development of our curriculum for all children.
Our program incorporates permanent play spaces for each Learning Room, providing a sense of familiarity and ownership of the room. The environment empowers children to learn and grow as they become responsible for their own learning. We provide an emergent play based program that is adjusted to the children’s interest and strengths. The program takes advantage of both indoor and outdoor spaces to encourage varied learning.
Our qualified early years teachers and educators support, guide, and enrich each child’s thinking by provoking discovery and learning. The program is based on individual and group experiences. Children are encouraged to discuss, express, reflect, and investigate their thoughts and ideas.
3 & 4 Year Old Kindergarten
Cradles to Crayons Early Learning Centre runs 3 year old & 4 year old Kindergarten programs, fully recognised by the Department, which is integrated within the Long Day Care setting. The kindergarten programs operate Monday to Friday 9:00am-4:30pm. Both programs are run by fully qualified Kindergarten Teachers.
Our kindergarten programs offers a range of learning experiences and activities that are both stimulating and fun, which prepare children for their school years. Through the experiences, the children’s learning and curiosity will be encouraged and will expose children to new ideas and problem solving. At kindergarten your child will grow socially and emotionally. Their ability to think, use and recognise language and their fine motor skills will be developed through play, art, dance, music, movement and interactions with others. Most importantly, your child will be learning to become an effective learner as they develop and extend their communication skills, build their self-confidence, learn to be creative, and develop skills that assist them with reading, writing and mathematics.

Incursions
We have a variety of incursions throughout the
year at no extra cost! All programs are based on the children's interests and needs, being responsible around pets, focusing on water safety, and more!
Music & Movement
Magical Days Kindy Dancing is a creative movement music and dance program using EYLF for children who attend Cradles to Crayons. Classes are held during school terms in Learning Rooms 3 &4!
Sports Program
Multi-Sport Program is specifically designed for children to experience the diverse and rich facets of team and individual sports such as Soccer, Basketball, Athletics, AFL/Rugby, Tennis, Hockey, Cricket, and bespoke programs. Classes are held during school terms in Learing Rooms 3 & 4!
